A lot of people are commenting on the fact that...
Yes, it’s a silent film. NO, this does not mean that it shouldn’t have won Best Picture. Silent films are just as effective, if not more so, than films with sound. If a movie can convey the same message without having sound, that makes it just as powerful of a film, in my opinion.
